We invite you join us and benefit from membership in our society. The Utah Jewish Genealogical Society provides members with the opportunity to be associated with and learn from others who share a common interest in Jewish Genealogy. Our meetings are a forum for learning how to search out your ancestry, exchanging information, sharing resources and experiences, and keeping up to date with new techniques for research. Membership in UJGS includes access to our meetings geared to broadening your knowledge about genealogy research, and also an email PDF subscription to our newsletter, Atsmi Uvsari. Other benefits include advice and consultations by local experts who can help you with your search, assistance in using the Family History Library, as well as in accessing the incredible resources now available via the World Wide Web.
Membership in the Utah Jewish Genealogical Society is open to all, regardless of religious background or level of experience. Our members range from those just starting to trace their family background to professional genealogists. Current dues are $10/year for individuals, $15/year for couples. Since UJGS is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization, your dues may be tax-deductible. Membership runs from January through December.
