Hi friends. I know we’ve been quiet over here since RootsTech. Let’s start changing that, shall we? Beginning this Saturday.

On June 27th, the Museum of Utah is having its grand opening. It is the state’s first history museum, an extension of the Utah Historical Society. The museum is housed inside the North Capitol Building and the grand opening is from 9am to 8pm this Saturday. Beginning with a ribbon cutting at 9am, then the galleries will open at 9:15, and there will be live music, food trucks, and other activities during the day. This event is free to the public.

More information can be found on their web site, including parking and information about a free shuttle from downtown: https://history.utah.gov/museum-opening/

Maybe we’ll see you there!
